LayerSlider 7.14.2 is now available! Mar 12, 2025
This release introduces revamped and enhanced WPML integration in LayerSlider to support the latest WPML features.
WPML String Package Support:
Allows you to organize translatable content into individual packages per project for easier management.
These packages can be assigned to translators through WPML's Translation Management and will appear in the Translation Queue.
Enables the use of WPML's AI translation features and the "Translate Everything Automatically" mode.
Added an "Auto Translation Cleanup" option under LayerSlider Plugin Settings → Integration. Enabled by default, this setting automatically removes translations for deleted layers or other unused elements. Consider turning off this option if you wish to retain unused translations to potentially revert to previous project versions.
These enhancements apply only to newly created or imported projects. Your previous translations remain accessible through WPML's String Translation menu, exactly where they were originally located.
Improved Descriptive Naming:
Translation strings now have highly descriptive names, significantly improving clarity and ease of identification. This feature is fully compatible with WPML's Classic Translation Editor, and upcoming WPML updates (version 4.7.2) will extend support to the Advanced Translation Editor as well.
Translation Reminder:
A reminder prompt was added upon publishing a project to ensure all content is fully translated and nothing is overlooked. The reminder includes a button directing users immediately to the appropriate translation page when using WPML or PolyLang.
Additional:
The "Smart Help" + icon at the end of input fields was changed to the ⋮ (vertical ellipsis) symbol.
Introduced a new "Fix 3rd Party Optimizer Issues" option in Plugin Settings to address common compatibility issues with caching and optimization plugins.
Enhanced the Counter and Countdown widgets by making the "Text Before" and "Text After" options translatable. These options now also support shortcode parsing for dynamic data integration.
